What a cutie! Can you think of anything better than a baby elephant? They’re pretty darn adorable. Especially this sweet little guy, who is a real friendly fella to all of the humans who visit him at the ethical sanctuary where he lives. The baby was just dying to say hi to one person who was there for a visit. He’s pure joy personified.

Nev must’ve been so smitten with the baby. The elephant is incredibly precious, and he was willing to be friends too.

As the traveler noted in her caption, touching the animals is not permitted at the sanctuary. But that doesn’t mean the elephants don’t want to meet you! The little guy was probably so fascinated by the humans there to see him.

He was posted up on the fence that surrounds his enclosure, with his little face sticking out from between planks of wood. Look at his trunk! I can’t get over it. The baby swayed back and forth as he watched the woman. He was sort of giving puppy vibes.

Again, I know we aren’t allowed to touch the animals. But can’t you just imagine playing fetch with the tiny one? If only they’d stay this small!

“This baby just wanted attention,” the woman wrote in the video’s caption. He really did!

People in the comments section were so in love with him.

“‘You cannot touch, feed, or bathe elephants,’ do you know how impossible that sounds to me?” joked one person.

“I would walk away with a suspiciously elephants-shaped bag (plural because I’m not separating mama and baby!!!),” teased another commenter.

“Oh my goodness stop, I wish I could just hug the baby elephant,” chimed in one person.

“The best part is it’s thinking the same thing about you too. Baby elephants think we’re cute,” pointed out someone else

How Big Are Baby Elephants?

This elephant might look cute, but he’s still an elephant after all! How big are baby elephants anyway?
