New Country Manager Paul Augé served as vice president for mobility and convenience in Mexico, overseeing bp’s downstream fuel business.

bp has confirmed a significant leadership transition in its Australian operations, announcing that Lucy Nation, the company’s Country President for Australia, will depart at the end of March after a 28‑year career with the energy major.

The company has appointed Paul Augé, currently senior vice president for mobility, convenience and midstream in Asia Pacific, as the next bp Australia Country President, effective 1 March. Augé will assume the new position while retaining his existing portfolio.

Augé brings broad international experience across strategy, business development and downstream operations. His career at bp has included senior roles in Australia, Mexico, the UK and Europe. Before relocating back to Australia, he served as vice president for mobility and convenience in Mexico, overseeing bp’s downstream fuel business.

Nation leaves after nearly three decades in roles spanning the UK, US and Singapore, with leadership responsibilities in refining, trading, terminals, midstream and supply, finance, and most recently gas and low‑carbon energy.

Australia has a network of more than 1,400 retail sites and bp pulse charging stations.
