Synopsis: After years away from the cage, a once-feared MMA champion is pulled back in for the fight of his life when his younger brother is put in danger. Reuniting with the trainer who once made him a legend, he commits to one final showdown against the reigning title-holder — a brutal fighter determined to dismantle the ex-champ’s legacy in front of the world. Pushed to his breaking point, the contender’s stakes are simple: win, or lose everything he’s built. Starring Daniel MacPherson, Luke Hemsworth, and Oscar® winner Russell Crowe (Actor in a Leading Role, Gladiator, 2000).

Tyler Atkins directs from a script penned by David Frigerio and Russell Crowe from a story by David Frigerio. Producers include John Schwarz, David Frigerio, Michael Schwarz and Tim O’Hair with the supporting cast including Amy Shark, Mojean Aria and Kelly Gale.

Beast looks impressive and MacPherson has definitely put the work in as he literally has transformed himself into a savage MMA warrior with action star and filmmaker Bren Foster switching things up as his merciless opponent looking to derail his career and ultimately his life. The MMA combat looks authentic and immersive, and many fans complain about the look of MMA in cinema or the lack thereof and Beast looks to correct that in every way possible. Having a Hollywood icon like Crowe, who also helped in writing the script, certainty brings a next level gravitas to the film, and he always elevates any picture he is in. this one looks like a bruising and white-knuckle fight flick and a contender for one of the best actioners of 2026.
