The 2026 BRIT Awards has announced a major change in regards to its UK streaming home, with viewers now being able to catch the annual awards ceremony on ITV’s YouTube channel for the very first time
Set to air on Saturday 28 February, UK audiences will be able to watch the show live on ITV1 and ITVX from 8.15pm.
Per a press release, the global digital simulcast will follow on ITV’s YouTube channel from 8.45pm, and international viewers can watch the action live on The BRITs’ YouTube channel.
Hosted by comedian and actor Jack Whitehall, this year’s ceremony will take place at Manchester’s Co-op Live, with Olivia Dean, Lola Young and Sam Fender among the nominees across the various categories.
Among the confirmed performers for the evening are the vocalists behind the fictional band HUNTR/X from the Netflix hit KPop Demon Hunters, whose award-winning song ‘Golden’ topped the Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks.

Dan Chalmers, Director of YouTube Music for EMEA, added: “We are thrilled that ITV is bringing The BRITs to their YouTube channel for the first time ever. YouTube sits at the epicentre of modern culture, acting as a global stage and curator for the world’s most talented artists and creators.
“While our platform is the digital home for global fandom, at its heart, The BRITs remains a community event – one we want families to experience together.
“By streaming on YouTube, we’re blending that traditional ‘sofa moment’ with a borderless community, ensuring the magic of Manchester reaches every screen, everywhere.”
