Tommy Fleetwood’s wardrobe selections have provided an entertaining subplot during the early stages of the season following his departure from Nike. The current FedEx Cup holder has also been lightheartedly mocked after his partnership with the sportswear giant concluded at year’s end.
Rather than swiftly inking a fresh agreement with another manufacturer following his Nike exit, Fleetwood has chosen to sport his own attire, showcasing various labels including Lululemon and Vuori. At The Genesis Invitational, he even sported Tiger Woods’ Sun Day Red brand
The 35-year-old has also been seen in Masters-branded clothing this season and made a stop at Pebble Beach’s pro shop last week, wearing the venue’s merchandise throughout the competition.
Prior to this week’s Genesis renewal at Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles, Fleetwood was seen wearing Malbon apparel during a practice session. According to Golf Digest, the outfit was loaned to him by Malbon representative Jason Day.

LIV Golf player Ben An, who switched to the breakaway league from the PGA Tour during the off-season, commented on Fleetwood’s sartorial decisions, playfully suggesting Fleetwood could wear his LIV team Korean Golf Club’s kit.

“Looks like Tommy Fleetwood is a free agent on clothing. Let me know if you want some Korean Golf Club clothes,” An posted on social media. “Happy to send you some. Relax, people, it’s a joke… maybe.”
Fleetwood, who has produced the finest golf of his career over the last 12 months, sits third in the world rankings following his Tour Championship victory in August.

He’s undoubtedly fielded countless lucrative proposals from brands eager to secure his endorsement, yet Fleetwood is relishing his newfound sartorial freedom.
“Our contract was ending and it just turned out like we, you know, sort of didn’t end up in a place where I’m wearing Nike stuff this year. Who knows what’s going to happen in the future?” he revealed at Pebble Beach.

“But this is cool. I don’t know, like I feel like I’m a big golf fan. I really like golf stuff, so it’s quite nice to be wearing Pebble Beach clothing. I mean, my kids would absolutely love this stuff, so I feel pretty lucky to have it on.”
Fleetwood reveals he’s been building up his wardrobe now that he’s no longer restricted to wearing Nike on the fairways. He said: “In general, my kids wear way more golf merchandise than me always because I haven’t been able to as well.
“But no, I do like it. I mean there’s some amazing logos around the world, and I also think they’re just like memorable pieces, right, when you come to a special place. My collection’s got a bit bigger, that’s for sure.”
