TUCSON, Ariz. – Wildcats sweep Saturday doubleheader against UC San Diego to improve to 7-3.
In the first match of the day, Arizona secured the doubles point by claiming two of the three doubles matches before rolling through singles play with victories in all six matches to complete the sweep.
The Wildcats carried that momentum into the second match, having a flawless performance. Arizona captured all three doubles matches and followed with six singles wins to seal the second 7-0 result of the day.
Arizona returns to action next weekend at the Diablo Invite in Tempe on Feb. 27–28.
