At about 1.28 pm yesterday, a Polaris Ranger utility terrain vehicle (UTV), went over an embankment and hit a tree on a property on Cedarvale Road, Sandy Creek.
The 59-year-old man driving the UTV and a 75-year-old male passenger were killed.

A 33-year-old female passenger was airlifted to Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital in a critical condition.
A 50-year-old female passenger was able to get herself out of the UTV and was airlifted to hospital for treatment.
A dog, also in the UTV, was killed in the crash.
The UTV has been towed for mechanical inspection, and the police crash unit is investigating.
