Several horror icons unite in the upcoming fairytale-inspired horror movie Ever After, with Kane Hodder as the Big Bad Wolf, Michael Berryman as The Huntsman, Malcolm McDowell as the Frog King, and Bonnie Aarons as The Witch. Watch the trailer below and read on.

Director Laszlo Illes has taken to Indiegogo to raise the final funds necessary to bring Ever After to life, but he assures that the fairytale horror movie has already been completely filmed.

The filmmaker details, “Ever After is a completed feature-length horror film. After growing far beyond its original Indiegogo roots, we’re returning to the community one final time to raise funds for festival submissions. Join a finished film risk-free, have your name appear on screen alongside the stars, and claim exclusive credits—including producer perks.”

At this time, the Ever After fundraiser has already raised over $7,000 and smashed through its original $3,000 goal, and you still have four days left to pitch in and get involved.

In Ever After, “A group of girlfriends travel to a secluded forest lodge to celebrate a bachelorette weekend — one last night of freedom before the wedding. Music, champagne, laughter. A perfect escape. Until the forest reveals its secret. Hidden deep in the woods is a secret cult that stalks and murders unsuspecting tourists.

“Its members disguise themselves as classic fairy tale characters everyone knows — figures pulled straight from childhood stories and twisted into instruments of ritualistic slaughter.”

The characters featured in this one include twisted versions of the Three Little Pigs, Little Red Riding Hood, the Big Bad Wolf, The Witch, the Frog King, and even Rumpelstiltskin.

“As the celebration turns into terror, the women realize they’ve wandered into a ritual older than the forest itself. Trapped, hunted, and outnumbered, they must survive a night where innocence is mocked, fantasy becomes brutality, and fairy tales are enforced with blood.”
