SHANE van Gisbergen will return to double duty this weekend at the Circuit of the Americas, with SafetyCulture set to sponsor both his Trackhouse Racing NASCAR Cup Car and his JR Motorsports O’Reilly Series Chevrolets.

The Sydney-based company first entered NASCAR with van Gisbergen in 2024, with the pair last year celebrating victory in the Cup Series at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.

The return to JR Motorsports sees the Kiwi reunite with the squad that claimed victory last year on the streets of Chicago, before finishing second at Sonoma.

The team’s #9 entry is a part-time effort from the outfit, with Ross Chastain previously announced to run a limited schedule.

Additionally, SafetyCulture has partnered with NASCAR and Trackhouse Racing to produce a documentary on van Gisbergen’s stockcar racing journey.

The documentary, entitled Runaway Kiwi, will be available to watch on the official NASCAR YouTube channel and The NASCAR Channel starting Friday, February 27.

“Last season was unforgettable, and we wouldn’t have achieved so much success without SafetyCulture,” said van Gisbergen.

“They helped keep our team prepared and focused, so we could show up every weekend and compete for wins.

“SafetyCulture was a big part of my racing career in New Zealand and Australia, and to have their continued support on my NASCAR journey is special.

“My win in Mexico City with SafetyCulture on board is something I will never forget.”

SafetyCulture will also sponsor SVG’s Trackhouse Racing teammate Chastain at Martinsville.
