Adelaide’s SANFL team faces South Adelaide on Saturday
Adelaide defender Jordon Butts will make his return from a punctured lung in the Crows’ SANFL clash against South Adelaide on Saturday.
Butts suffered the injury in Adelaide’s Round 18 AFL clash against the Western Bulldogs, and has been cleared to return to competitive football after spending three weeks on the sidelines.
The 25-year-old is one of seven inclusions to the team for the trip to Noarlunga.
AFL-listed duo Brayden Cook and Brodie Smith come back into the line-up, and are joined by development squad quartet William Crane, Jay O’Leary, Andrew McPherson and Lachlan Thomas.
Lachie Murphy, Luke Pedlar, Chris Burgess, Harry Schoenberg and James Borlase have been called up to the AFL squad, while Stephen Tahana also comes out of the side that defeated Norwood last week.
The Crows’ team features 12 AFL-listed players which includes Toby Murray, Tyler Welsh, Karl Gallagher, Luke Nankervis, Sid Draper, Matt Crouch, Charlie Edwards, Lachlan Sholl and Billy Dowling.
Adelaide will be searching for its 13th win of the 2025 SANFL season as it takes on the ninth-placed Panthers.
Catch our SANFL team in action at MAGAIN Stadium (Noarlunga) this Saturday afternoon, with the first bounce at 2.10pm.
