All Women’s Sports Network (AWSN) announces the debut of women’s professional boxing on its fast-growing television platform in partnership with Hall of Fame legend Manny Pacquiao’s promotion, live on Sat., Feb. 28, beginning at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT from Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, N.Y.

The two-hour “Queen of the Ring” live AWSN broadcast will feature a trio of women’s boxing bouts, highlighted by the return of undefeated 23-year-old phenom Shera Mae Patricio (7-0-0, 3 KO’s), who will take on former world champion Maribel Ramirez (15-13-4, 3 KO’s) in a six-round, super flyweight (115 pounds) contest.

“We are proud to be a part of this stellar event with Manny Pacquiao Promotions, and to be able to showcase women’s boxing champions of the future on the AWSN platform around the globe,” says AWSN CEO George Chung, who is also recognized worldwide as a pioneer of women’s boxing.

Chung was the promoter of the historic April 2000 showdown between Laila Ali and Kristina King, a bout that marked the first-ever professional boxing fight in China. During his storied career in the media and boxing industries, Chung also promoted retired, undefeated three-time world champion Jennifer Alcorn and retired former World Boxing Council (WBC) lightweight champion Jessica Rakoczy.

Fighting out of her hometown of Honolulu, Hawaii, Patricio, a decorated, multiple-time amateur champion, became the youngest Hawaiian female fighter in history to emerge Golden Gloves champion in 2023 and, in 2024, was a winner at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials. Patricio will enter the ring for the first time in 2026 after earning wins in all four of her appearances in the squared circle last year.

Standing opposite Patricio, the 39-year-old Ramirez of Mexico City, Mexico is a former World Boxing Association (WBA) world champion in the super flyweight division. Ramirez, who has competed in four different weight classes over the course of her 17-year career as a professional fighter, brings to the ring with her over four times as much professional boxing experience as her younger opponent.

In other women’s boxing action airing live on AWSN, Damiana Andrello (1-1-1, 0 KO’s) of Liverpool, N.Y. will take on Jessica Maltez (1-3-0, 0 KO’s) of Victoria, Minn. in a second super flyweight matchup that will be contested as a four-round bout.

Andrello, 26 years of age, notched her first professional win last December 6, with a unanimous decision over Keya Reed-Redmond.

Leading off the women’s lineup will be highly touted Katrina Scalzo (0-0-0), who will battle Michelle Cook (3-6-2, 0 KO’s) of Hogansburg, N.Y. in a four-round super lightweight (140 pounds) fight. The 29-year-old Scalzo of Utica, N.Y. will make her professional debut before a hometown crowd after competing just once as an amateur.
