Waterville, Maine – Coming off their fall season consisting of three tournaments, the Colby Men’s Tennis team will open their spring campaign this Saturday February, 28th hosting the Lions of Emerson College.

“We are excited to get our spring season going soon!” said Head Coach Adam Reeb. “The guys have been working really hard and are ready for the challenge ahead. We have a very young team which is exciting as there will be a lot of continuous growth and improvement match by match this spring. Our captains Jason Daly and Marco Ziets-Segura have done an outstanding job leading and setting the tone for the rest of the group. I can think of and see progress and improvement made by every player on our team which is awesome to see and our goal is to be consistent and present every day. If we can do that, we will have a successful season for sure.”

As Reeb stated, the Mules have a young roster with only two upperclassman; senior Aidan Kwong and junior Kevin Mortimer.

Following Saturday’s opener, the Mules will remain on Mayflower Hill the weekend after for the first conference matchups of the season against Hamilton and Amherst. The team will then head to MIT March 14th before taking their spring break trip to the Golden State. Colby will look to earn a spot in the NESCAC Championship Tournament for the fifth consecutive year this season.
