Actor Vikram’s team has refuted rumours of the actor’s upcoming film, tentatively titled Chiyaan 63, being dropped. Rumours arose of the film being shelved, after online chatter increased regarding the same.
In October 2025, Shanti Talkies, the banner behind Vikram’s next announced that debutant Bodi Rajkumar will direct Chiyaan 63. He has previously directed short films like Amen and Lo and Behold. The former won the Best Short Film award at the Independent Film Festival of Chennai 2021 and the Best Indie Short award at the Venice Shorts festival in 2021.
