Triple M’s national early Drive duo Lu & Jarch have addressed rumours of a possible switch to Sydney Breakfast radio.
On the latest podcast episode of Behind the Mic with Mike E, Luisa Dal Din and Jack Archdale were asked directly if they would consider the move.
While they didn’t shut the door entirely, they made it clear a single-market Breakfast shift may not align with their current audience footprint, pointing instead to the strength of their national reach.
When asked by host Mike E whether they would want to take on Sydney Breakfast, Lu & Jarch replied “It’s a tremendous compliment.”
“I mean, certainly, we wouldn’t say no to anything, but also I think people forget that our audience is nationwide.”
“Yeah. So we’d need to do national Breakfast.”
“I think if radio stations are listening? Maybe start a national one.”
“Yeah, that would make sense.”
“We’re really loving where we are and what we’re doing. See what happens.”
