Matt Burton‘s 60-metre conversion is still creating reaction and has now made itself all the way to the NFL ahead of the NRL’s Las Vegas opener.
On February 9, the Bulldogs posted on social media a video of Burton kicking an NFL ball through the training ground posts from well beyond halfway.
That video, and Burton’s torpedo bombs, have continued debate about whether he could switch to the American sport.

Burton’s manager, David Riolo, has previously confirmed there’s been interest from NFL scouts and the five-eighth wouldn’t shy away from an opportunity.
At Las Vegas’ high performance centre, Nine’s Danny Weidler took the opportunity to show the video of Burton’s kick to Raiders player Caleb Rogers.

“That’s insane,” he reacted.
Asked if Burton could make the switch, Rogers replied, “Oh yeah”.
The Bulldogs trained first at the high performance centre before the Dragons made an appearance.
St George Illawarra forward Luciano Leilua was one player who mingled with the Las Vegas players.
In the off-season, Leilua has undergone a physical transformation, losing 20 kilograms.

“I had to lose some weight, the game was getting too fast … I was getting too big and too slow for the game,” he told 9News Sydney.
Leilua put it down to cutting out sugar and McDonald’s.
The Dragons will play the Bulldogs on Sunday at 3:30pm (AEDT).
