New AI-Informed Communications Agency ‘Right On Q’ Launches

In response to one of communication’s biggest evolutions since social media, an AI-informed communications agency has now launched in Australia. Right On Q (ROQ) integrates AI intelligence with strategy and storytelling, built to drive brand visibility where consumers are increasingly making decisions.

Research commissioned by ROQ1 reveals an urgent call to attention to brands in the local market, with 81% of respondents having used an AI-powered search engine in the past month, and almost half (45%) having made a purchase in the past 6 months as a result of an AI search recommendation.

Right on Q has been established with the understanding that AI-powered search, and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), prioritises what others are saying about your brand online – not just what you say about yourself. This makes clarity, consistency and credibility across owned, earned, social and content creators more important than ever before.

What exactly does Right On Q do?

The new agency’s first step is to comprehensively audit and diagnose the brand’s current visibility and sentiment across the leading AI search engines in Australia – including ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity.

This will be measured across your existing channel presence and against your biggest competitors.

ROQ can then produce a customised optimisation report identifying the key topics, channels and assets to improve your brand visibility in the short and long term.

After that the real magic starts – brands can leverage ROQ’s industry leading software and expertise to optimise content that strengthens visibility signals within AI search, from media releases and blog posts to social content calendars and content creation.

Why has Right On Q launched?

“The way people find information and make decisions about brands is evolving at lightning speed and collapsing the traditional marketing funnel as we know it”, says Right On Q Co-Founder, Mike Maurice.

“In mere seconds, a consumer can ask a question about your brand category and receive one synthesised response. If you’re a part of the answer, great – people are often forming opinions before they even visit your website. But it’s quickly becoming the reality that people are making decisions about you faster and easier, or not at all.

Created for communications and marketing teams, Right On Q is the product of three co-founders – comms agency Adhesive’s Founder, Mike Maurice, creator and social agency Ernest’s, Founder, Tim Rasbash, and joining them is Adhesive and Ernest’s Storytelling Lead, Bridget Mills. The three will remain working in their existing roles within Adhesive and Ernest companies.

“We established ROQ with the belief that Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) is not about chasing keywords or gaming systems. We know these engines are on the hunt for the most credible signals possible to the questions being asked. And what’s only been magnified in this era of ‘ask’ is what others say about you is incredibly important, whether that’s earned media or customer reviews,” says Rasbash.

Mills adds: “AI-powered search engines are seeking the best possible answer to the questions that they’re being asked. And ‘best’ doesn’t always mean the biggest name or budget. With this new offering, we now have the insights to inform our clients with a much more targeted and effective program.”

Right On Q has soft launched to a handful of brands in recent months, and is now available for servicing Australian brands across all categories and sizes who are navigating what the new era of search will mean for their communications and marketing mix.
