Key defender Sandy Brock is in line to be recalled for Sunday’s tough task against Adelaide’s tall forward threat at Optus Stadium.
Brock has been named at full-back, replacing injured big man Harry Edwards (foot) in the extended 26-player squad.
Experienced duo Jack Graham and Matt Flynn have also been included alongside speedster Jack Petruccelle and forward Jack Williams.
Brock is set to join gun defender Reuben Ginbey and developing back Rhett Bazzo for the challenge of shutting down Crows stars Riley Thilthorpe and Darcy Fogarty.
At this stage, Edwards and youngster Tyrell Dewar (omitted) are the only changes to the Eagles’ team from last round.
The final 23-player team will be confirmed at 3pm AWST on Friday.
Sunday’s home game will be a special occasion for the Club and supporters, with 2018 premiership heroes Jeremy McGovern and Dom Sheed set to farewell the home crowd at half-time.
Meanwhile, co-captain Liam Duggan will lead the team out for his 200th game in blue and gold.
Ryan Maric will play his 50th game since being recruited in the 2023 mid-season rookie draft.
Bouncedown is at 3.10pm with the match broadcast live in WA on Channel 7 and 7-plus, and nationally on Fox Footy and Kayo.
