The Neve Campbell-less, Kevin Williamson-less Scream VI (2023), which moved the action to New York City, wasn’t bad. But the latest instalment in the horror franchise, with series creator Williamson back co-writing as well as, for the first time, directing, is even better and closer to what fans might expect. Amazing to think it’s been 30 years since the original.
