Former Ohio State defensive back Lorenzo Styles Jr. has run the fastest 40-yard dash by a safety prospect at the NFL combine since at least 2003, according to the NFL, and he has the fastest run through the first two days of drills at the 2026 event.
Not 48 hours after Lorenzo Styles Jr.’s brother and OSU teammate, Sonny, wowed scouts with his 43½-inch vertical jump, Lorenzo Styles Jr. has turned heads with his 4.27-second sprint.

While Sonny Styles’ leap was the best of any player weighing 240 or more pounds at the combine since at least 2003, Lorenzo Styles Jr. posted a 39-inch vertical jump, which made him one of the top safeties in that category this year.
In 12 appearances with the Bucekyes last season, Lorenzo Styles Jr. had 30 tackles and two pass breakups.
