The NFL scouting combine is currently taking place in Indianapolis, IN. where players are attempting to showcase their talent in order to get drafted in the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft. The Spartans sent two players to the combine, including OL Matt Gulbin and P Ryan Eckley.

On Saturday, Gulbin shared that he would not be participating in drills at the combine, instead waiting until the Michigan State pro day. This is a situation that stems from an injury that kept him out of the Spartans season finale win over Maryland.

Likely to get drafted, Gulbin is gearing up to improve his stock in the draft over the next month.
