On Sunday afternoon, the Minnesota Timberwolves will play the Denver Nuggets in Colorado.
The Timberwolves are coming off a 94-88 victory over the LA Clippers (in Los Angeles).
Julius Randle finished the victory with four points, three rebounds and six assists while shooting 1/10 from the field 0/3 from three-point range in 32 minutes of playing time.

Before Sunday’s game, the Timberwolves announced that Randle is listed as questionable.

Julius Randle’s 2025-26 NBA Season
Randle is in the middle of his second season playing for the Timberwolves after a trade (in 2024 via the New York Knicks) sent him to Minnesota.
Right now, the three-time NBA All-Star is averaging 21.7 points, 6.8 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 48.4% from the field and 31.8% from three-point range in 60 games.
In addition to the Timberwolves and Knicks, Randle has also spent time with the Los Angeles Lakers and New Orleans Pelicans over 12 NBA seasons.
Dane Moore wrote before the game: “Julius Randle is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game in Denver with back spasms. Randle has not missed a game this season — a goal of his this year.”

The Timberwolves come into play as the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a 37-23 record in 60 games.
They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak (and have won six out of their last ten).
Following the Nuggets, the Timberwolves will play their next game on Tuesday when they host the Memphis Grizzlies at the Target Center.
Last season, the Timberwolves reached the Western Conference finals for the straight season.

On the other side of Sunday’s matchup, the Nuggets are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 37-23 record in 60 games.
They have won four out of their last ten games (and are 16-11 at home).
Following the Timberwolves, the Nuggets will play their next game on Monday when they remain at home to host the Utah Jazz.
Last season, the Nuggets lost to the OKC Thunder in the second round of the 2025 NBA playoffs.
