DULUTH, Ga. – North Carolina, with 14 ACC wins—its most since 2013—enters the 2026 Ally ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament as the No. 3 seed and will begin tournament play in the quarterfinals on Friday, March 6 at 7:30 p.m. ET on ACC Network from Gas South Arena.

Carolina will square off against the winner of No. 6 Virginia Tech and No. 11 Georgia Tech/No. 14 Florida State, who will meet in a second-round game on Thursday. The victor of Friday’s game will advance to the semifinals on Saturday.

The Tar Heels hope to win three games in three days next weekend. Their goal: earn a 10th ACC Tournament title and their first since 2008.
