Kyle Sandilands has confirmed his radio co-star, Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, won’t be returning to the airwaves at all this week. She has been taking a break from her breakfast KIIS FM show after she and Kyle had a major on-air fight.
The pair were in the middle of talking about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s arrest nearly two weeks ago when Jackie started talking about the royal’s astrological chart. Kyle ripped into Jackie for being “off with the fairies” and being unprofessional for talking about star signs.
Jackie took last week off and there were rumours she was set to return on Monday morning.

But she was noticeably absent and Kyle revealed she wouldn’t be returning for a few days while she “gathered her thoughts”.
“It’s just the two of us again,” he said to producer and newsreader Brooklyn Ross at the start of the show.
“It’s a shame Jackie isn’t here, she won’t be here all week again everyone, for all those monitoring.”
He believed she would eventually be back, but insisted he was in the dark about her official return date.

“I know there’s a lot of speculation and everyone thinks they know everything, if anyone would know anything it would be me but I know nothing, zero,” he said.
Brooklyn claimed Jackie is “fine and doing well” but didn’t have much more to reveal.
Mid-last week, Kyle admitted that what happened between them was not appropriate and he wished he handled it differently.
“ I obviously upset her and maybe in hindsight I shouldn’t have said it on the air, but we say a lot of things on the air here,” he said.
“It’s never meant to hurt her feelings and obviously it did, and I regret hurting her feelings.
“No one wants to hurt someone, especially someone you care for.”
What happened between Kyle and Jackie O?
Kyle and Jackie O were in the middle of talking about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s arrest in the UK when Jackie started discussing the stars and how his birth chart apparently influences his behaviour.
But Kyle was having none of it.
While he said while birth charts can be “fascinating”, he believed it was taking up far too much airtime.
“I don’t mean to be rude, as I said fascinating, but I don’t think it should be at the detriment of everything else on the show,” he said.
“It’s affecting other things. Your fixation on this has made you almost unworkable.
“You are off with the fairies with this s**t, it’s mental.”
Kyle even likened her to a “drug addict” with the way she was obsessing over astrological claims, even though his radio co-host has spoken about addiction issues in the past.
“You are not doing the rest of the job, and everyone in this building has mentioned it to me,” he added.
“Everyone has said, ‘What’s going on with Jackie? She’s off today.”
But Jackie was completely taken aback by his comments and was clearly emotional.
“I’m totally offended by you saying something like that,” she said.
“I would never say things like that about you,” she said.
“You make out like you’re perfect, but there are so many things that you don’t do, and I would never bring them up, and I would never say what people say.
“I don’t want to get into a tit for tat, I think it’s mean and nasty. I don’t have a problem, but if I brought up the things people say.”
