Injury troubles are continuing to follow the South Sydney Rabbitohs with Jai Arrow set to be out for at least four to six weeks with a mystery shoulder issue.
News around Arrow comes after Brandon Smith was ruled out for the opening games of the season with a moderate calf strain.
The Rabbitohs had endless issues with injuries last season, most notably around Cameron Murray, Latrell Mitchell and Cody Walker.

Arrow’s injury came to light on February 20 when he wasn’t selected to play the club’s trial match in Mudgee. At the time, the Rabbitohs had said he was undergoing further investigations into a long-term shoulder injury.

Those investigations had been going for four-to-six weeks up until this point but it hasn’t brought any joy for the forward.
“The results of those investigations are inconclusive,” the Rabbitohs said in a statement.
“Arrow saw a specialist today and he will undergo a course of treatment with the specialist over the next four-to-six weeks to see if the nerves in his shoulder settle.
“He will see the specialist again in six weeks’ time for further review.”
