Reebok’s return to performance basketball happened just over a year ago to the day and now, the brand is back with a sequel.
After delivering the Engine A in February 2025, Reebok has followed it up with the Engine A 26, the Boston-based footwear brand’s newest addition to its on-court lineup. The model is available now in three debut colorways and is notable for building on Reebok’s patented Energy Return System cushioning, the same technology featured on the Angel Reese 1. The Engine A 26 adds an updated drop-in forefoot SuperFloat Pod, which heightens the responsive cushioning even more.
Reebok also focused on the Engine A 26’s design, with a level of detail the brand says is comparable to a signature shoe. Arriving in a patterned Black/White/Gold, a mismatched Atomic Tangerine/Digital Lime/Black and a more conservative Chalk/Black/Energy Red look, the Engine A 26 boasts a bold design intended to stand out on the court.

“The Engine A 26 feels fast and has power, as the Engine A platform evolves it’s exactly what athletes need to take their game to the next level,” Chicago Bulls standoutMatas Buzelis, who signed a multi-year partnership with Reebok in October 2024, said in a press release.
Along with Buzelis, the new Engine A 26 will be worn on court by the Reebok Team Rbk.B roster including Nate Ament, Lexie Brown, DiJonai Carrington, Tre Mann, Aneesah Morrow and Dink Pate.

The Reebok Engine A 26 is available now from reebok.com. The Black/White/Gold (style code 100248542) and Atomic Tangerine/Digital Lime/Black (style code 100256186) colorways retail for $130, while the Chalk/Black/Energy Red (style code 100256187) makeup is priced at $120. More styles are set to be released throughout the year.
