ORLANDO, Fla. – The Yellow Jackets pushed their record over the .500 mark with a 6-1 win against Rose-Hulman at the USTA National Campus.
Cedarville, 7-6 overall, swept the doubles to take the first point.
No. 1 Roberto Esquivel and Penn Morrison as well as No. 2 Roman Issayev and Alexander Rongos each won by 6-4 scores.
The No. 3 unit of Logan DeHaven and Pedro Nogueira worked quickly for a 6-0 result.
The Jackets claimed the top five spots in singles. No. 1 Issayev, No. 2 Esquivel, No. 4 Nogueira, and No. 5 Morrison all won in straight sets.
No. 3 DeHaven went the distance for a 7-6 (7-4), 1-6, 1-0 (10-4) decision.
