Week two of the four-week WPGA Tour of Australasia and Ladies European Tour (LET) co-sanctioned action arrives on the New South Wales Central Coast this week in the form of the Australian Women’s Classic.

The Course

Magenta Shores Golf & Country Club is a Graham Marsh-designed links-style layout that demands precision ball striking and smart course management.

A former host of the Ford Women’s NSW Open, Magenta is known for firm conditions, exposed coastal winds and heavily contoured greens. Players and coaches consistently rate it as one of the strongest conditioned venues on the Australian calendar.

Success here requires trajectory control, creativity in the wind and sharp iron play. With undulating putting surfaces and risk-reward tee shots, it shapes as a true test early in the 2026 LET season.

The Field

A strong international and domestic field headlines the second week of co-sanctioned action.

Fresh off victory at the Fordordable Women’s NSW Open, Agathe Laisne arrives in form and is chasing back-to-back Australian wins.

Among the leading Australian hopes is Kelsey Bennett, who opened with a 65 last week in Wollongong on her way to a share of eighth. LET members Kirsten Rudgeley, Maddison Hinson-Tolchard and Justice Bosio add further local depth.

LPGA Tour veteran Sarah Kemp was the best-placed Australian last week with a share of fifth and will look to build momentum on familiar turf.

International contenders include Kiwi Amelia Garvey and four-time LET winner Alexandra Försterling, who appears fully recovered after a recent back injury.
