“I think it’s pretty low talking about it for starters, Menners, so I think you didn’t need to go into details there,” MacGill responded, “I think that’s s***, you’re a f***ing idiot.”
Former Australian cricketer Stuart MacGill (right) went on an expletive-filled tirade against his Cricket Unfiltered podcast co-host Andrew Menczel.
MacGill then accused his co-host of being the same as the South African fans, while Menczel attempted to cool things down by saying MacGill’s point of view was “fair”.
However, MacGill said Menczel needed to show more respect to players and their families, otherwise their relationship would be short-lived, while also calling him “pig-headed”.
“You are a moron,” MacGill said, “continue, next topic.”
The former cricketer said he would leave the show if any of his rant was cut out and continued by calling Menczel a “muppet” for not moving on to the next topic.
“You seem very irritable,” Menczel said.
“Yeah, mate look, I might jump across the mic in any second. Just watch your neck,” MacGill replied.
Menczel went to change the topic to Australia’s upcoming tour of Bangladesh, but decided to abruptly end the podcast.
MacGill played in 44 test matches for Australia, taking 208 wickets and scoring 6038 runs.
