Seattle Seahawks cornerback Tariq Woolen is slated for unrestricted free agency in March.

Woolen is approaching the open market after capturing a victory in Super Bowl LX with the Seahawks on Feb. 8.

According to Spotrac, Woolen carries a market value estimation of $8.2 million ahead of free agency.

Woolen’s one interception in 2025 was a career-low for the four-year veteran. He did record 12 passes defended last season. Woolen added one quarterback hit as well as one tackle for loss on the year.

The cornerback market is lucrative. There are 32 corners that currently earn an average annual salary of at least $10 million. Cornerbacks with annual salaries in close range with Woolen’s market value estimation include Los Angeles Rams CB Darious Williams ($7.5 million) as well as Buffalo Bills CB Darius Slay ($10 million).

Williams signed a three-year, $22.5 million deal with the Rams after recording four interceptions in 2023 with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Slay won the Super Bowl in 2025 with the Philadelphia Eagles prior to becoming an unrestricted free agent.
