MINOT, N.D. – Coming off its best season at the NCAA level, which included a first-ever trip to the NCAA National Tournament, the Minot State men’s basketball team is ready for even greater success during the 2025-26 season.

That season begins in mid-November as the Beavers tip off a new campaign at the NSIC/GAC Crossover against tournament host Southeastern Oklahoma State on Friday, November 14.

The Beavers wrap up their opening road weekend playing East Central (Okla.) on November 15 before making their home debut at the MSU Dome on Wednesday, November 19. Minot State hosts new 4-year program Bismarck State in a men’s and women’s doubleheader with the Minot State men tipping off at 7:30 p.m. against the Mystics.

Following the home debut, the Beavers will be just down the road playing a special neutral-site game on Friday, November 21, against Montana State Billings at the 4 Bears Casino & Lodge in New Town at 7 p.m.

After that short, 4-game pre-conference slate, Minot State heads south to battle in-state rival Mary to open NSIC play on Tuesday, November 25, part of a busy Thanksgiving week in Bismarck. The Beavers also play Black Hills State and South Dakota Mines in non-conference games hosted by the University of Mary on November 28 and 29.

Minot State then switches to full-speed NSIC mode starting in December as the Beavers host new NSIC-member Jamestown on Thursday, December 4, at the MSU Dome.

The Beavers wrap up the weekend on the road at Northern State on December 6, then Minot State plays a full weekend at home at the MSU Dome, hosting Minnesota State Moorhead on Thursday, December 11, and Minnesota Crookston on Saturday, December 13.

Minot State closes out the 2025 portion of its schedule on the road, playing at Minnesota Duluth on December 18 and at Bemidji State on December 20 before taking time off for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.

The Beavers return to the court in 2026 hosting Mary on Saturday, January 3, then Minot State entertains St. Cloud State on Friday, January 9, and Minnesota State, Mankato, on Saturday, January 10.

Minot State is back on the road playing at Southwest Minnesota State on January 16 and at Sioux Falls on January 17, then returns home to host Augustana on Friday, January 23, and Wayne State on Saturday, January 24.

The Beavers are back on the road to close out January, playing at Concordia, St. Paul on January 30 and at Winona State on January 31, then return to the MSU Dome the first weekend of February, hosting Bemidji State on Thursday, February 5, and Minnesota Duluth on Saturday, February 7.

Minot State then makes its final road trip of the season with three in-a-row away from home, playing at Minnesota Crookston on February 12, at Minnesota State Moorhead on February 14, and at Jamestown on February 19.

The Beavers close out the regular season hosting Northern State on Saturday, February 21, for “Senior Day.”

The postseason then begins with the NSIC Tournament as first-round games are scheduled for Wednesday, February 25, at campus sites, before the top 8 remaining teams move on to the Sanford Pentagon, for the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals, February 28 through March 3.
