WWE wrestler and online personality Logan Paul recently challenged any NFL players to a fight, offering them $1 million if they could beat him.

On Wednesday, former NFL running back and current boxer Le’Veon Bell called out Paul in return:

The two continued in a back-and-forth on social media:

It wouldn’t exactly be the second coming of The Rumble in the Jungle. Paul, 30, is far more accomplished as an agent provocateur than boxer, with a win over Dillon Danis in 2023 and a loss against KSI in 2019.

While his WWE career has taken off in a bigger way, that doesn’t really translate to a real fight.

Bell, on the other hand, is actively pursuing a boxing career. The three-time Pro Bowler and two-time first-team All-Pro is 2-1 professionally and was 2-0 in his exhibition fights. His last boxing match was an exhibition victory over Supah Hot Fire in November.

The 34-year-old Bell spent eight seasons in the NFL, rushing for 6,554 yards and 42 touchdowns. He was one of the most dynamic playmakers in the sport during the first five years of his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he sat out the 2018 season in a contract dispute and never truly returned to his previously elite form.

While it would be fun to watch a player like Myles Garrett or DK Metcalf absolutely mash Paul into a pulp, it’s unlikely current players will take up his offer. But Bell is certainly ready for that action.
