The Formula 1 is about to kick off in Melbourne, but on Wednesday night it was all about the fashion.
Glamour on The Grid saw some of Australia’s sporting greats and biggest names in fashion greats come together to celebrate the night and the naked dress once again dominated the red carpet.
Presenter and model Rebecca Judd was one of the many arrivals who opted for the trend, slipping into a stunning Jaton Couture frock.

The semi sheer gown featured plenty of crystal details and a daring open back that flashed plenty of skin.
She wore her hair up in a sleek up-do, with two curled strands at the front framing her face.
The mum-of-four finished the look with a matching glitzy clutch, silver heels and minimal jewellery, letting the heavily detailed gown shine.

But she wasn’t the only one who got the memo that the naked dress was the unofficial theme of the night.
Model Annalise Dalins, who is engaged to Collingwood star Josh Daicos, opted for a similar sheer frock that featured a cutout on the waist.
The 24-year-old wore an Oglia-loro Couture frock, which featured embellished details across the bust and hips, leaving the rest of the sheer fabric to skim over her body.

The dress was also backless, with a halter design.
Daicos meanwhile, kept things suave in a simple black tuxedo.
Nadia Bartel looked stunning in a Jaton Couture design gown with plenty of sparkle and an almost hip-high slit.

The gorgeous gown also played on the naked dress trend, with the sparkling details layered over a nude fabric.
She attended the glamourous event with her partner of three years, Peter Dugmore.
He complemented her look, opting for a pale grey suit and matching shirt.

While many of the ladies opted for sheer and sparkles, Jules Neale bucked the trend and went with one very bold look.
The Perth-based hairdresser, whose separation from AFL star Lachie Neale has made headlines in recent weeks was red hot in this gorgeous number.
The red gown by designer Effie Kats featured a one shoulder design, flashing some skin with a cut-out on her hip – and it was backless too.

Sharing another snap from the night to her Instagram she posed in front of an F1 car, clearly taking it all in.
AFLW star Tayla Harris was another standout and there’s some killer inspiration behind her look.
The flame embroidered pants and jacket were covered in plenty of bling, which matched the bralette underneath.

The outfit is a REIGNER x Hot Wheels collaboration and she felt like it was the perfect option for her debut at the event.
“The opportunity to stand out at an event like this, if you can show a bit of your personality and your willingness to wear bold things, that can be a really cool experience,” she told nine.com.au.

“I have followed James Noble, who’s behind Reigner, for a while and always thought his stuff was awesome.
“Given the opportunity, I was, always going to say yes [to wearing his styles]. And then Hot Wheels, obviously, being a collaborator is a perfect fit for me.”

Another trend that emerged was the black memo – because really you can never go wrong with a black dress.
Aussie fashion designer and style icon Pip Edwards meshed the two, opting for a sheer dress, layered with black lace.
Adding her signature cool girl style, she draped a leather jacket over her arms and accessorised with a studded black love-heart shaped bag.
Radio personality Carrie Bickmore opted for a sleek black gown that featured sequin detailing all over.
The mermaid-esque gown was the standout, leaving her blonde hair loose around her shoulders.

Lindy Klim’s black gown featured bold shoulder pad detailing and plenty of sparkle.
Just like a lot of the other ladies in attendance, she added a touch of sheer with a shimmering see-through skirt.
She was joined at the event by her daughter, Stella Klim.

The couple, who met through her F1 driver brother, looked stylish as they arrived.

Melbourne AFL captain Max Gawn went with a velvet jacket for the night, adding a touch of something special to his look.
The sportsman paired the textured jacket with a black bow tie and simple suit pants.

The shimmering fabric hugged her body and featured draped details that added to the gorgeous fit.
She finished the look with a matching gold shrug and kept her long blonde locks loose around her shoulders.

She nailed the black memo, slipping into an interesting black gown that featured a structured corset and sheer lace skirt.
Draped detailing on her hips added to the drama of the outfit and added even more wow factor.
This year marks the 10th year of Glamour on the Grid and the event also starts the Melbourne F1 held at Albert Park.
