C.J Kayfus, Milan Tolentino and Carter Kieboom each hit home runs, and the Guardians dominated the White Sox, 12-3, in a Cactus League game on March 5.
Cleveland finished with 16 hits. Jaison Chourio tripled, and Angel Martinez, Brayan Rocchio, George Valera and Angel Genao each doubled.
Martinez, Austin Hedges and Kody Huff each had two hits. The Guardians were 6-for-11 with runners in scoring position.
Tanner Bibee (1-1) pitched four scoreless innings, gave up one hit, struck out four and didn’t walk a batter.
The Guardians host the Angels on March 6. Gavin Williams (1-0, 4.14) gets the start.
