COOPER Murray’s #99 Camaro Supercar should stand out this weekend at Queensland Raceway, but not for being bright or overly intricate.

In light of being without a naming rights sponsor for the speedy rookie at the Ipswich Super440, Erebus Motorsport has opted to keep it simple.

And sometimes basic can be easy on the eye, as evidenced by Zak Best’s 2022 Tailem Bend wildcard or the handful of plain cars that hit the track in the early phases of Gen3 team testing.

Erebus has hailed the “back in black” look as “full stealth” and a dream livery for team owner Betty Klimenko.

In addition to the presence of minor sponsors, a chunk of space has been dedicated to Rural Aid, the non-profit organisation which supports farmers and their communities.

After an incident-riddled start to the season, Murray is coming off his most productive couple of rounds of the year having placed 16th and 17th in weekend points at Darwin and Townsville respectively.
