It’s Married At First Sight’s fourth Commitment Ceremony and love is in the air!
Not everyone’s air. But some air!
We begin in the same way we begin all Sundays: with Stella and Filip drinking coffee in bed, gazing into each other’s eyes and thanking the heavens that they have nothing to do with the drama.

There are also some big milestones to celebrate: Steven told Rachel she looked sexy last night, for example, and Tyson is trying something new too … coffee.
Perhaps he needs the pick-me-up after witnessing Juliette’s brutal tirade against Joel at the Dinner Party.
She stands by it, by the way! (Nine)
EXCLUSIVE: Unseen footage reveals Juliette’s ‘bone-chilling’ plan to villainise husband Joel
The group are shook, not just by her “nasty” outburst, but at how cool, calm and collected Joel remained throughout it.
Everyone is expecting Juliette to cop some major heat from the experts and yeah … they’re definitely right!
Stella and Filip
Let’s ease into the chaos with some love, shall we? Not that Stella and Filip are quite yet ready to say it’s love, even though they both know it is.
There’s an L-bomb on the horizon, but for the meantime they’ll just keep using morse code or whatever to tiptoe around it.
Juliette and Joel
Their week was a straight-up disaster film, but instead Juliette labels it simply “OK”.
OK! (Nine)
After of speaking through doors, missed metaphors and teddy bear slander, that feels like an understatement.
It doesn’t take long for the pair to continue debating whether or not Joel claimed he was “the star of the show”.
MAFS EP 20 RECAP: Juliette’s ‘vicious’ Dinner Party tirade toward Joel and a teddy bear wreaks havoc
Juliette is so confident he did, which grows more awkward every time producers replay the footage proving he definitely didn’t.
After doubling down on her “devil eyes” comment, Juliette demands Joel apologise to her.
This is going well. (Nine)
John Aiken is astonished. How can she call someone an embarrassing, unattractive unmanly liar and expect an apology from him?!
Regardless of whether she has a different perspective, “you can never talk to your partner in that way”, John says.
Alessandra Rampolla is mind-blown that Juliette hasn’t turned to Joel with “profound shame” to offer an apology.
So, she does turn and … oh no, she’s apologising to the group.
Coolcoolcool. (Nine)
Finally, she faces her husband.
“I don’t feel that much hatred towards you,” she says.
HATRED?! (Nine)
As she tries to defend that stellar apology, Mel Schilling snaps: “Don’t talk over Alessandra. Show some respect.”
The experts decide they’ve had enough of talking to a brick wall for now, asking for their decisions.
“I have too much respect for myself,” Joel says, revealing he has opted to leave.
Juliette offers him another apology, this time because she wrote stay.
Ah yes, definitely the right decision… (Nine)
They’re stuck together for another week, but Joel lays down firm boundaries.
“I will always treat you with kindness and respect and I expect the same treatment back,” he says.
Despite struggling to remember what they were, Juliette is “definitely” willing to respect them.
Rachel and Steven
These two catch the experts up on their evolving physical connection and yes, Rachel does giggle her way through it.
Obviously, with smiles like that, they’re staying.

Chris and Sam
Speaking of physical connections, Chris and Sam have pashed!
Everyone is thrilled, except Alessandra, because 20 to 30 seconds is a poor attempt at her three-minute task!
Luckily they can keep practising, because they each write stay.
Gia and Scott
Despite Gia’s wee runaway earlier in the week, Scott stresses that they’re doing well now.
He’s wrong.
Turns out, Gia’s still pretty annoyed that he didn’t initially respect her request for him to delete photos of his ex.
While they talked it through and he apologised, Gia says she can’t just forget her hurt that easily and she would’ve appreciated him checking in.

He didn’t know that, but it’s something Scott can accommodate.
“If you’re happy, I’m happier,” he says.
They can absolutely see a future together with Gia’s daughter, as Scott’s super bloody cute “stay” card proves.
Sending well wishes to Gia’s daughter and her broken arm! (Nine)Alissa and David
David ticks so many boxes for Alissa … but not all of them.
He’s calm and she’s not, basically.
David and the experts think she’s holding onto old patterns.
“I just wonder if the thing that’s missing is that toxicity,” Mel tells her.
Alissa is willing to embrace a drama free relationship, which hopefully it will still be after the conversation.
Bec and Danny
Bec has taken on board her telling off from last week and the pair are sitting on the couch after a week (mostly) free from the chaos.
I didn’t think they had it in them!
The experts are pleased by the hard work they’ve put in to get here and it also makes their decisions very easy: matching stays!

Tyson cannot wipe the grin off his face as he sits down in front of his new bestie, John.
He’s had a great week and thinks he and Steph have made huge progress.
She agrees … but thinks it’s only been possible because she’s learned to shut up.
Radiating romance as per usual. (Nine)
For example, she’s still horrified about his stance on gay people.
Across the room, Sam removes his palm from his forehead long enough to tell him why it’s hurtful.
John wonders if Tyson’s always had “no filter”, but the groom insists he does have one. Deep, deep down, I guess.
OK. Wow. How about something a little less controver – oh.
We’re back on that “submissive” thing, as Steph says it’s demonstrative of Tyson’s opinions about women.
He objects to that on the basis of being close with his sister.
“I like women,” he says.
But do women like him? (Nine)
Steph states he has no ability to compromise, which Tyson is all too happy to prove.
“I do not see a future here with this person at all. And quite frankly, after tonight, I’m going back to the Gold Coast,” he says.
He then flees the experiment for good, leaving Steph to throw her ring off, cry and end the night with a big, Tyson-free group hug.
Tomorrow night, the couples’ apartments are in desperate need of a cleanse so it’s Couple’s Retreat time!
Vibes are high … for approximately two minutes. Tears, arguments, walk outs, it’s got it all. Pack your bags, we’re going away!
