Weekes is back, and finally the Sea Eagles show a bit of class with a nicely worked backline move down the left, Reuben Garrick being put into a bit of space by Tom Trbojevic and rolling a grubber towards the in-goal – that is cleaned up by Weekes.
But it forces a dropout, and Manly get another attacking set. An offside decision gives them six-again. And now there’s a penalty against Zac Hosking for shoving Luke Brooks in the head after a tackle.
Manly push on for a try, but Brooks isn’t 100 per cent, and after a couple of big try-saving tackles by the Canberra defence, Daly Cherry-Evans’ last-tackle grubber goes dead in goal. Really good defence from the Raiders there.
