All the 2025 Rugby Championship squads have been confirmed ahead of the competition’s opening two rounds.
Defending champions, the Springboks, host the Wallabies in the first game of the tournament before the All Blacks head to Argentina to tackle Los Pumas.
After the first two rounds of action in Argentina and South Africa, the action moves to New Zealand and Australia, with the All Blacks hosting the Springboks while Los Pumas head Down Under.
The Boks will face Los Pumas in Argentina and London, while New Zealand host the Wallabies in the last two rounds.
Rassie Erasmus has named an experienced squad for South Africa’s title defence, with five players who debuted in July retained; they are: Ethan Hooker, Asenathi Ntlabakanye, Boan Venter, Marnus van der Merwe and Cobus Wiese.
Meanwhile, Argentina boss Felipe Contepomi has recalled several players who were rested for the Test series against England, notably Tomás Albornoz and Gonzalo Garcia.
Wallabies boss Joe Schmidt has recalled experienced forward Lukhan Salakaia-Loto, who impressed during the touring matches against the British and Irish Lions but was not selected for the Test series. Scrum-half Ryan Lonergan, prop Aidan Ross and winger Corey Toole are all in line for potential debuts, while experienced number nine Nic White has put his retirement on pause.
Finally, Scott Robertson’s squad features a shock call-up for Simon Parker while New Zealand are contending with a host of injuries, with six players included as injury cover.
