Cody Simpson and Lara Worthington have featured in a late night video following the Australian Grand Prix on Sunday.

The Aussie pop star shared a video on Instagram of himself acting out in front of a camera with Worthington and Aussie DJ Milly Gattegno.

The trio were filming a version of the popular ‘We’re so sorry, No we’re not’ TikTok trend that many celebrities have attempted, including US gymnastics icon Simone Biles.

In the video shared on Sunday, Worthington was seen sticking her middle finger up at the camera as she and Simpson walked along a Melbourne CBD footpath following the race at Albert Park.

The video included the audio of Joan Jett’s iconic rock ballad ‘I love Rock and Roll’.

Worthington earlier turned heads when she strutted along the grid in a grey two-piece suit with black heels an sunglasses.

It was a less dramatic day at the track for Simpson after F1 guru Martin Brundle inadvertently snubbed him during his traditional pre-race grid walk.

On the live Sky Sports broadcast that went around the world, Brundle walked right past Simpson to talk to Aussie Test cricket captain Pat Cummins in the moments before the Australian national anthem was performed.

It was only confirmed earlier this month that Simpson and ex-partner Emma McKeon have separated.

McKeon and Simpson went their separate ways towards the end of 2025, selling a house they purchased together on the Gold Coast.

Simpson and the Aussie swimming icon were one of Australia’s most celebrated power couples. The golden couple went public with their relationship in April, 2022.

Meanwhile, the late night video of Simpson and Worthington has caught many by surprise.

The clip, posted by Simpson around 11pm (AEDT) shows the former swimmer barging into a camera shot waving his hands and miming the words: “No, we’re so sorry”.

Worthington then walks in front of the camera, pushing Simpson out the way while miming the words: “f*** you b***h”.

The trio were among a host of celebrities that graced Albert Park this weekend.

Celebrity guests included Hollywood star Terry Crews, British pop star Rita Ora and Aussie singer Delta Goodrem.

Aussie tennis star Thanasi Kokkinakis, cricket legend Ricky Ponting, TV mogul Eddie McGuire and Nadia Bartel also posed for the cameras.

Hair stylist Jules Neale was also spotted at the track on Saturday.
