The Nuggets superstar shared that he usually tunes in to see players he knows personally or has played with.
“I mostly watch our guys, players I played with. Of course, I’m rooting for Partizan. I watch Nikola Milutinov, we’re good friends, so I watch Olympiacos. They brought in like 30 players, Cory Joseph came too. I like watching them,” Jokic said.
He also highlighted some other EuroLeague players who caught his eye.
“I sometimes watch Vasilije Micic, their games are kind of interesting to me, I don’t know, lots of points. I watched when FC Bayern Munich beat Panathinaikos. We’ve stayed good friends with Vladimir Lucic for a long time. Great guy, really great guy. A serious, high-character guy. Usually, I watch teams that have our guys on them, those are the ones I tend to follow the most.”

When it comes to the NBA, Jokic also follows players and teams he admires for their style and competitiveness.
“Yeah, he’s [Anthony Edwards] good, really good. Somehow, I always end up watching them [Minnesota Timberwolves]. But here too, I tend to watch teams that have some of our people. I like watching the Toronto Raptors, and sometimes I like watching Luka Doncic,” he explained.
Jokic also praised the physicality and teamwork of other NBA squads.
“I really like how physical [the Oklahoma City Thunder] are, how they play, how they compete, all five guys are the same. I think you can learn something from watching them: how they move, what they do.”
The Nuggets star is also keeping an eye on young talent, such as Atlanta Hawks forward Jalen Johnson.
“He’s interesting, a bit different, like a smaller Andrei Kirilenko. He’s good,” Jokic noted. “There’s a lot of talent in the NBA. If you just turn on a random game, you’ll find someone who plays really well. There’s always something worth watching.”
