As expected, “The Predator” opened as a sizable betting favorite over “Monstro,” according to BetOnline.ag, clocking in at -550 against +420 on the moneyline. That’s a respectable number considering Lins departed UFC on the strength of a four-fight win streak — and scored seven takedowns during that span.

On the downside, Lins is also a natural light heavyweight.

Ngannou vs. Lins will be contested across five, five-minute rounds inside a hexagon cage using four-ounce gloves. Since neither fighter has competed since 2024, the later rounds could prove to be an ugly affair, assuming the bout lasts that long. Combined, Ngannou (18-3) and Lins (18-5) share 30 finishes — 18 inside the first frame.
