The band – originally comprising Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt, Melody Thornton, Jessica Sutta and Carmit Bachar (we all remember Snoop Dogg‘s Buttons intro) – made their Official Singles Chart debut with Busta Rhymes collab Don’t Cha, which spent three weeks at Number 1 in 2005.
Another chart-topper (Stickwitu) and a further nine UK Top 40 singles followed, with the band also boasting three Top 10 albums: 2005’s PCD (7), 2008’s Doll Domination (4) and 2009 repack Doll Domination – The Mini Collection (9).
The group’s last UK chart appearance came courtesy of 2020 single React (29). The track, which featured members Nicole, Kimberly, Ashley, Jessica and Carmit, was intended to launch a 2020 reunion arena tour, before the shows were scrapped due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
