Godox has introduced the ALink, a compact 2.4 GHz wireless microphone system designed to work with cameras, smartphones, and computers. The system records 48 kHz / 24-bit audio and can connect to cameras through a standard 3.5 mm audio output or digitally via optional Canon and Sony hot shoe adapters. The transmitter weighs just 6 g (0.21 oz), and Godox claims a wireless range of up to 300 m (984 ft) in line-of-sight conditions. Plus, it’s only $40! So let’s take a closer look.
Godox has been active lately with several product announcements. We recently looked at the KNOWLED P600R Hard P4 and P1200R Hard P8 RGB panels shown at BSC 2026, and also covered the livestream launch event with cinematographer Ryan Kao, where those lights were discussed in more detail. This time, the company is introducing something different, a compact wireless audio system that can be used with cameras, smartphones, and computers.
Connectivity
The Alink system can connect to Sony and Canon cameras using an optional digital hot shoe adapter, eliminating the need for a cable. For cameras that do not support a multi-interface shoe, the receiver also includes a 3.5mm output.

When used with a phone, the receiver also supports charging passthrough, so the phone can continue charging during recording. It is also possible to review recorded footage directly through the phone’s speakers without disconnecting the receiver.

The Alink uses 2.4 GHz frequency-hopping wireless transmission with a maximum range of up to 300m (984 ft) line of sight. The transmitters pair automatically with the receiver when powered on, so the system is essentially ready to record without setup.
The system also supports mono and stereo recording modes. In mono mode, audio from both transmitters is combined into a single track, while stereo mode records each transmitter on separate left and right channels.
Godox lists 10 levels of adjustable noise reduction, controlled through the Godox Mic app (available for Android devices only). There are presets like Deep Denoise, Balanced Denoise, and Light Denoise, which apply different levels of filtering depending on the environment. An auto-limiting function helps reduce clipping when audio levels spike.

Battery life is another area where the ALink system keeps things simple. According to Godox, the transmitter can operate for around 10 hours on a single charge, while the included charging case extends total operating time to about 30 hours.
The transmitters weigh about 6g (0.21 oz) each, while the receiver weighs about 13g (0.46 oz). The specified operating temperature range is −10°C to 50°C (14°F to 122°F).

The ALink sits in the entry-level wireless microphone category, where portability, straightforward operation, and price tend to matter more than extensive audio controls.
More advanced wireless systems often include features such as internal backup recording, expanded monitoring options, or more detailed audio routing. Those capabilities do not appear to be part of the ALink design. Instead, the system focuses on a simple wireless setup with a practical range of features that can move easily between your devices. For solo creators, small crews, or quick interview setups, this kind of simplicity can often be the more practical approach.

The Godox ALink wireless microphone system will be available in two configurations. The ALink Kit 1, which includes one transmitter and one receiver, has a recommended retail price of $39, while the ALink Kit 2, which includes two transmitters and one receiver, is listed at $69.
