The 2025 NRL season’s Round 23 clash on Sturday night will see the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs host the New Zealand Warriors at Accor Stadium in Sydney.
The Bulldogs slipped down to third on the ladder after a 28-14 defeat to the Wests Tigers last week. They were once table toppers but after a string of defeats in the middle of the season, Cameron Ciraldo’s men have fallen behind the Raiders and the Storm.
Sitili Tupouniua remains out due to a hamstring issue, while Marcelo Montoya is scheduled to return in two weeks as he continues to recover from a neck injury.Â
Like the Bulldogs, the Warriors have dropped games recently. In shocking back-to-back defeats at home in Auckland, New Zealand lost 24-16 to the Titans, followed by a 20-18 loss in the last minute to the Dolphins.
Andrew Webster’s side will now have an opportunity to snap their two-game losing streak when they take on Canterbury in what will be their first meeting in 2025. These two sides last met in Round 25 last year when the Warriors were beaten 34-18 in Auckland.Â
