Samsung developed tools and settings for its new Galaxy S26 generation, as well as other novel technologies already integrated into the device, in line with advances in artificial intelligence (AI) and its increasing daily use.
The new line—comprising the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra—takes the mobile experience to the next level by integrating Galaxy AI in a more proactive and adaptive way, simplifying everyday tasks such as organizing schedules, editing photos, searching for information, and managing calls.
What he said.
Technology is becoming increasingly user-friendly. It’s true that not everyone is an expert at using it, so instead of having to download more apps, their newly purchased phone already has many features they can use. The simpler the technology, the easier and more accessible it is.

In response to questions from EL VOCERO, the executive indicated that more and more customers of all ages are seeking these features in their devices.
In fact, Frankie ‘Hambo’ López, a content creator specializing in gaming and technology, confirmed the rise of AI technology, not only in Puerto Rico but worldwide.
“Of the Samsung Galaxy S25 users, the previous generation, 90% are using artificial intelligence on their phones. It’s gone from being a gimmick to being a part of people’s daily lives,” López stated.
He also mentioned that 63% of users are using it to edit their photos, and it has helped 69% overcome language barriers with live translation and transcription tools.
Innovating with Privacy Technology
Another highly sought-after feature in the new series is the integrated Privacy Screen, which eliminates the need for external screen protectors and is available for the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
This new technology allows the screen to appear bright and clear to the user, but to someone viewing it from the side, the screen appears completely black or extremely dark, as if the phone were turned off.
According to Gabriela Sanabria, head of Samsung in Puerto Rico, they are the first in the world with this technology.
“For us, innovation isn’t measured by how much the technology can do for us, but by how little effort the user has to make to achieve it. Therefore, the experiences and functionalities are designed to make the experience simpler, smoother, and more intuitive,” said Sanabria.
Furthermore, this innovation is complemented by advanced AI-powered Call Screening and Samsung Knox’s multi-layered security, creating an ecosystem where information remains protected and under your absolute control, guaranteeing a smarter, more private, and spam-free mobile experience, reinforcing data protection in the age of AI.
“With the Galaxy S26 series, our mission is to make artificial intelligence a true ally for Puerto Ricans, simplifying their daily lives without complications. This device intelligently operates in the background so you can focus on what truly matters. At the end of the day, it gives you back your most valuable asset: your time, freeing you from repetitive tasks so you can enjoy the moments that really count. It’s an invisible assistant that optimizes your day without you having to configure anything. It’s the perfect balance between innovation and utility,” stated Jon Criscione, Sales Director for Samsung Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.
