It is the $3750 luxury retreat where a vulgar comment about a couple’s relationship sparked “World War III” on Married At First Sight.

The 80-hectare Greyleigh estate near Kiama has been the setting for this season’s most explosive scenes.

Located 126km from Sydney on the NSW South Coast, the property costs up to $3750 for a two-night minimum stay.

The property where the MAFS chaos unfolded was originally built as a dairy farm in the 1880s.

It underwent a $5 million transformation that began in 2019 and took five years to complete.

The Greyleigh conversion was completed in 2022 after the original farm was bought by builder Charles Daoud and business partner George Geagea in 2017.

The Australian reports the site was purchased for an undisclosed sum.

The main feature of the wedding venue and farm-stay is the four-bedroom Homestead, which accommodates 12 adults.

It features a main suite with a four-poster bed and a claw-foot tub on a platform of Italian marble.

The homestead also includes an al fresco dining space on a covered wraparound veranda and a country-style breakfast room.

Other features include a formal dining room, antique furniture, and vintage decor.

The property also offers a spa and pool with a cabana, and a BBQ area with an outdoor pizza oven.

An adjacent guest house provides private rooms, while the former main dairy, known as The Gables, functions as an event space with a large bar.

Scenes featuring the MAFS couples were also shot in the property’s expansive gardens, which boast native flowers and fig trees.

Controversial bride Bec Zacharia blew up the mood on the first night of the retreat after she made a comment about couple Steven Danyluk and Rachel Gilmore’s physical relationship breakthrough.

The couple, who had intimacy issues since their marriage, had only just shared their news around the Homestead when the comment was made.

During an interview about the blow-up, Steve complained that Bec had made an “assumption” about their sex lives.

The drama spilled over the weekend with Bec describing the atmosphere as being like “World War III”.
