Meghan Markle is set to return to Australia next month to headline a luxury Sydney retreat – with tickets priced at a staggering $3,300.
The Duchess of Sussex, 44, will appear as a guest speaker at the three-day Her Best Life Retreat, hosted by radio personality Jackie ‘O’ Henderson’s events company Besties.
The retreat will be held at the InterContinental Hotel at Coogee Beach from April 17 to 19 and will feature wellness sessions, entertainment and what organisers describe as “powerful conversations, relaxation, laughter and unforgettable experiences.”
Guests who attend will also be treated to a gala dinner featuring an in-person conversation with the former royal.
Entertainment reporter Peter Ford revealed the price tag during an appearance on Melbourne’s 3AW Ross and Russ Breakfast Show, noting the hefty cost for those hoping to see Markle speak.
“Interestingly, for that, it’s $3,300 a ticket,” he said.
“But at least you’re getting something for your money there.”
The event will include a range of activities across the weekend including yoga sessions, manifestation workshops and even disco dancing, with Markle reportedly headlining the manifestation event.
“I don’t know what she’s going to conjure up but she is there as the keynote speaker for that,” Ford added.
The retreat is limited to just 300 guests, adding to the exclusivity of the event.
It will mark the first time Markle and Prince Harry have returned to Australia since their 2018 royal tour.
Ford suggested bringing the Duchess to Australia for the retreat may have been the easier booking, noting that organising an appearance by Prince Harry could prove more difficult.
“The Prince Harry one will be much harder to pull off,” he said.
