The Dockers are dominating this match and making the Cats chase them all over the park.

Shai Bolton snapped a goal just before the quarter-time break, that was his second major of the term while the Dockers having running playmakers launching from all parts of the ground.
It’s Fremantle’s best first quarter against the Cats, according to Fox Footy.

Dockers running up the score
First-gamer Mitch Edwards is battling away for the Cats but he’s facing off with Luke Jackson and Sean Darcy who are on top right now.
Edwards flew too early in a ruck contest at centre half forward and he collected Jackson, who claimed the free kick and booted the goal.

Mark Blicavs looks to have gone into the ruck for the time being, that’s a throwback for the Cats.
The lead could have grown further but Treacy missed a shot from distance.

Treacy on target, Clark replies
Treacy has taken another strong mark on the lead and gone back and kicked the ball just inside the left post for a goal.
He’s in ripping form today and proving a very difficult forward for the Cats to slow down, especially when the Dockers can move the ball swiftly.
Cats youngster Jhye Clark has goaled on the run after a tough handball from Cameron but it just feels like the home side are just holding on here.

Freo go further ahead, Neale responds
The crowd noise is down to a murmur in Geelong as the Dockers knock in another goal via the lively Isaiah Dunkley who snapped a major.
The ball is spending a lot of time in Freo’s front half and the Cats just can’t seem to find avenues to transition the footy out of defence.

The Dockers’ pressure is red-hot. Usually, it’s the Cats backing teams into the corner.
Shannon Neale has responded for the Cats with a mark and goal but they are chasing the Dockers so far today.

Serong kicks truly
Caleb Serong has been brilliant in this first term and he’s run into a pass from a teammate, steadied himself and kicked the goal.
“He looks dangerous,” Jason Dunstall said on Fox Footy. He’s not wrong.

Moments later, Jye Amiss bolted up the field and then back to the goal square and the Dockers won the footy and found him with a booming kick from Josh Treacy.
Amiss boots the goal and the Dockers are flying.

Pearce down in rooms, Bruhn denied goal
Something is wrong with Dockers skipper Alex Pearce who is in the change rooms and was shown on camera appearing to be looking for something.
In the meantime, Tanner Bruhn appeared to kick his first goal since returning to the senior side this season but Murphy Reid was convinced the ball was touched off the boot and he was right.
The goal was ruled out after a review.

Cats respond
The Cats responded with a crisp team goal as they moved it along the right boundary line before Bailey Smith sent a stab pass to Jeremy Cameron.
Big Jez marked it low down and then kicked the goal.
The Cats needed that settling goal.

Bolton fires Dockers into the lead
Caleb Serong was super as he desperately kept the ball in on the right boundary, he won the footy and centred his kick which was picked up by Shai Bolton who snapped truly.
Tom Hawkins predicted last night that the Dockers would win today, they’ve made a super start.
