Former star NRL and State of Origin star Chris Walker has reportedly been taken into police custody overnight on the Gold Coast.
The Daily Telegraph reported Walker was taken into custody by police around 8.30pm Queensland time on Saturday, police sources have confirmed.

No charges had been laid, while the details were also unclear.
Queensland Police have been contacted but are yet to respond officially.
The 46-year-old scored 87 tries in 163 NRL games for the Broncos, Rabbitohs, Roosters, Storm, Titans, Eels and Catalans Dragons from 1999 to 2011.
He also scored four tries in six Origins for the Maroons.
Walker is the brother of fellow former NRL stars Shane and Ben Walker, while Roosters halfback Sam Walker is his nephew.

On Friday night after Souths Sydney flyer Alex Johnston became the greatest tryscorer in Australian rugby league history, Walker posted to his Instagram.
“Huge effort mate…if I had played NRL for another 200 years I maybe would have beaten Alex Johnston’s scoring record,” Walker wrote.
