Elijah Wood teases his mysterious Ready or Not 2 character. The DCU’s plans for Booster Gold may have changed. Plus, Severance may get a big directing shake-up for season 3. Spoilers now!

Mike Flanagan’s The Exorcist
Production has officially begun on Mike Flanagan’s stacked The Exorcist, starring Scarlett Johansson, Diane Lane, Jacobi Jupe, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Laurence Fishburne, Sasha Calle, John Leguizamo, Hamish Linklater, Carl Lumbly, John Gallagher Jr., Benjamin Pajak, and Carla Gugino—among others.
They Follow
According to Maika Monroe at a recent Q&A (via World of Reel), the sequel to It Follows finally begins filming this summer.
Ready or Not 2: Here I Come
In a recent interview with Screen Rant, Elijah Wood suggested “The Lawyer,” his mysterious character in Ready Or Not 2, could be immortal.
You know what’s funny, we actually talked about this a lot when we were making it because he’s very mysterious. There’s no backstory to the character at all. So that being the case, it was really up for discussion, like, who this person is, where he comes from, and how long he’s been doing this. And I think he might be immortal.
I think he may have been doing this for hundreds of years. That’s sort of what we landed on.
The Serpent’s Skin
A transwoman’s romance with her supernaturally powered lover attracts the attention of a body-hopping demon in the trailer for The Serpent’s Skin.
Severance
According to World of Reel, Kogonada (A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, After Yang) “has been tapped to replace Ben Stiller as the primary director” of Severance season three.
VisionQuest
Speaking with Screen Rant, Paul Bettany promised there’ll be “big swings” in the upcoming WandaVision spinoff, VisionQuest.
I think that Terry [Matalas, showrunner] realized, and agreed with me, that I feel like Marvel gets rewarded when it takes really big swings. And I think that he just understood in his bones who Vision is. And Vision is for the kid that I was when I was a kid – the kid that felt like an outsider and felt like they had no community that they fit into. And he knew who these stories are for and who Vision is for. And I think we made a really fun and entertaining show about a guy who’s an outsider and trying to find out who he is.
In the same interview, showrunner Terry Matalas promised James Spader’s return as Ultron has yielded “delicious” results.
I don’t know how much I’m allowed to say because we’re still early out. I think it comes out… can’t even tell you when it comes out. It will come out this year! Later in the year. I would love nothing more than to show it to you all right now. I’m so very proud of what we did. I would have to say, if you’re a fan of Paul Bettany and James Spader, [Vision Quest] is a delivery system for those two. It’s one of my most favorite things, even in post. It’s so delicious to watch these two cut it up. I’m very proud of it and can’t wait for you to see it.
Booster Gold
As noted by DC Universe Daily (via Comic Book), screenwriter David Jenkins—who was attached to write the pilot for a potential Booster Gold TV series—has “deleted all posts related to the show and unfollowed James Gunn” on Twitter.
It looks like the Booster Gold project may not be happening, as David Jenkins has deleted all his posts related to the show and has also unfollowed James Gunn.
I think this could go one of two ways:
– The show has been cancelled and is no longer moving forward
– The project is… pic.twitter.com/AyYI6U9zit
