The Good Fight, the “compelling” legal drama starring Christine Baranski and Cush Jumbo, has landed a new streaming home in the UK. With a stacked cast and plenty of episodes, this could be your next binge-watch!
The series, a spin-off to The Good Wife, sees Baranski portray Diane Lockhart, a figure who loses a boatload of savings and her job following a financial scam. In order to build herself back up, she joins a Chicago law firm.
After premiering in 2017, the legal drama ran for six seasons and 60 seasons before its conclusion in 2022, but you can now view all episodes as they have been made available to stream on Prime Video.

Throughout its five-year run, The Good Wife boasted a stacked cast in addition to Baranski, with Rose Leslie, Erica Tazel, Delroy Lindo, Matthew Perry, Michael Sheen and Alan Cumming all making appearances.
The legal drama was acclaimed by critics, with Rotten Tomatoes currently reporting an impressive approval rating of 95% across the six seasons. The first season has the highest score (98%), while the fifth has the lowest (91%).
“The Good Fight weaves all its elements together as masterfully as its predecessor did and looks set to deliver,” wrote The Guardian of the first season, while AV Club (via Rotten Tomatoes) called it a “compelling character-driven drama”.
“There are plenty of torn-from-the-headlines plots…But the show’s appeal is broader than any single issue. The Good Fight is simply a fun, confident, muscular series,” wrote The New Yorker of the second season.
London Evening Standard was similarly full of praise for the third season, opining: “Inventively shot, almost entirely indoors, The Good Fight is zingily scripted and brilliantly acted all round and it takes all kinds of risks.”
Of the fourth season, IndieWire noted: “Thanks to mostly bulletproof scripts and an undeniable talent for telling interesting stories by creators Robert and Michelle King, as well as strong performances from the actors at every level, The Good Fight makes it easy to get swept up into it all.”

“The premiere is propulsive. It’s a maximalist example of how The Good Fight crafts an operatic farce,” wrote AV Club of the fifth season, while Vulture said that the final season was one of the “strongest” in the series.
